ROCKER PARK MOVED TO A LATER DATE

To accommodate requests from most of the musician participants of Rocker Park, the committee in charge of it (along with Toby’s) decided to move the elimination rounds to June and the championship, to July.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

NEVER HEARD, FRESH MUSIC

In its place, Rock Ed decided to hold a long-standing plan to feature the raw and the rising bands of the scene.  Mga hindi pa nakakatugtog in the major public eye.  So far, the bands who have registered are as follows: Eyescream (all the way from Cabanatuan), Mantikilya (Ateneo student band), Unnamed, Kamuning Drive (winner of Asia America’s recent acoustic Play for Peace contest), DNA (stands for Di Namin Alam –for the guitar aficionado, don’t miss this one), LBM (also a participant of the Play for Peace contest – I think LBM stands for something else other than what we know), Homegrown, Big Mic, a band called AndManyMore (Miriam HS 2007), South Superhighway, and maybe Juan Jr.As of today, we only have a few slots left.

We will end gig by midnight, so we can only accommodate a set number of bands.  In any case, come over anyway because if there’s time left, sampa lang kayo onstage.

NEVER HEARD.FRESH MUSIC is a project of Rock Ed Philippines to showcase bands that have had no chance or time to feature themselves yet.

This gig serves as an informal new volunteers' orientation as well. Come enjoy fresh music and find out how you can participate in Rock Ed's projects. Admission is free.
