This photo-essay says clearly -- the Philippines is comprised of all sorts of people. Civic leaders to fashion icons to musicians to marine biologists to rock icons to mothers. And everyone else in between the drummers and the dreamers. We find strength in respectful agreement. Unity never meant uniformity and diversity never meant discord. Everybody here agrees on one thing -- a better Philippines is possible.

May pagkakataong magkatrabaho.

Dakila kayo.*

*Everyone in this photo-essay is highly urbanized and educated. They have been fortunate enough that they never really experience literal hunger. All have access to employment. Everyone here has been given the opportunity to pursue or perfect a hobby, craft, or art. Majority of our fellow countrymen are not as lucky. So we admit, we no longer have excuses not to help Filipinos become self-sufficient and even prosperous. And because you have the resources, knowledge and capacity to access this blog, you too - have no excuses. My respect goes to all Filipinos who help the Motherland. You are noble.
